We are eagerly seeking work in the following genres: magic realism, fantasy, and mystery, or that is targeting a young adult audience. Black Lantern currently publishes all forms of short fiction, but are actively seeking submissions in these genres. If you are a writer or an artist and have a piece which you would consider applicable to one or more of these genres, please see our submission guidelines.
